Ivy - lat. Hedera helix

An evergreen climbing plant that can be seen in many gardens as well as homes.

It is originally from Western Europe.

Ivy loves places with lots of light in the home as well as in the garden. It tolerates air pollution well, so it is suitable for cities. If the ivy plant is kept in homes, it is enough to water it when the surface layer dries, approximately every 10 days. What I highly recommend is to wash the ivy every two weeks under running water, as it is very sensitive to the appearance of mites that lead to drying of the leaves and the plant itself.

It is poisonous if the leaves are consumed, for humans as well as for animals. Contact with the leaves may cause skin irritation. It is recommended to keep it away from pets and children.

A classy plant that enriches many gardens, facades of houses as well as the interior of the home, it purifies the air very well from pollution.
